The item is a small-bore forged stainless steel piston check valve for horizontal pipeline installation. Flow is guided through a piston that lifts from the seat under forward flow and closes back against it when the flow stops or reverses, so the valve is held closed by the returning medium rather than by a spring. The bonnet cap sits on the body and is retained by bolted studs and nuts, which allows the internals to be inspected or replaced on site. Both end ports are fitted with red protective caps for shipping and storage.
