For stainless steel (CRA) valves, ASTM A351 CF8M (Austenitic Stainless Steel) is mostly commonly used for casting of body&bonnet and other base materials of pressure-containing parts.

Notes: All requirements are for standard material, for special requirements like NACE please refer to the relevant standard.
