BS 6364 Ball Valve
A BS 6364 Ball Valve is a ball valve designed and manufactured according to BS 6364, a standard for valve used in cryogenic service. It's a quarter-turn valve employing a pivoting ball with a drilled-through hole to regulate flow. Alignment of the hole with the flow direction permits fluid or gas passage, while a 90-degree rotation stops the flow entirely.
